Who We Are

Miss Naomi
Principal of NC Dance
Ba (hons) Dance, DDE, Acrotrix, Zumba
Naomi has been dancing since the age of 5 and trained in a variety of styles such as Acro, Ballet, Lyrical, Modern and Tap and competed in many competitions, shows and graded exams with BTDA and the ISTD. Naomi was part of a dance troupe performing at events across the UK. Naomi then went on to audition for dance colleges gaining places at the Urdang Academy, Performers and the University of Chichester where she chose to train from 2013-2016 in Contemporary and Ballet gaining a Ba (hons) in dance. Whilst at university, Naomi was part of 3Fall dance company, a touring contemporary company performing and running workshops across the UK. Her dream was to open up her own dance school which became a reality in 2018 opening the doors of NC Dance. She also works across Berkshire at numerous primary schools offering street dance, Zumba kids and ballet after school clubs. She is also a freelance dance teacher working for dance schools in Reading teaching the ISTD and BTDA syllabus and many other genres of dance. Naomi has completed her DDE (Dance Diploma in Education) in Imperial Classical Ballet with the ISTD gaining fully qualified teacher status with them. Naomi is extremely passionate about Classical Ballet and dance and wants to help everyone in the community have easy access to dance. Naomi is also a qualified Level 2 Gym Instructor, Level 3 Personal Trainer, Acrotrix teacherZumba, Zumba Kids and Strong Nation Instructor.
Miss Amari
Saturday Dance Teacher
Diploma in Dance & Musical Theatre
Amari started her dance training at just the age of 4 in classical ballet. From there she fell in love with the dance form and started competition dancing. Amari was scouted to take part in the Lion King cub school for the musical at the age of 8. She then. at the age of 10 performed numerous times with the London Children’s Ballet Company at the Peacock Theatre in west end, Amari even performed live with the company on Daybreak (now known as Good Morning Britain).
Amari furthered her training by wining a scholarship to the prestigious Urdang Academy on a 3 year course in dance and musical theatre, gaining her diploma and graduating in 2021.
